The world wrestling championship with participation of Azerbaijani national teams starts in Moscow today.
Greco-Roman wrestlers will struggle for three sets of awards on the first day of the contests. They will be fighting for awards in the weight categories below 55, 66 and 96 kg.
The first opponents of the Azerbaijani wrestlers have already been declared. Elchin Aliyev (55 kg) will have to fight Azerbaijani Vugar Rahimov, representing Ukraine, at the start. Vitaliy Rahimov (66 kg) will face Kumar Sunil from India and Sabuhi Humbatov (96 kg) will fight Belarus Timophey Dzeynichenko.
