Armenian Speaker to visit Syria.
Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan held a meeting September 2 with Speaker of the Syrian Parliament Mahmoud al-Abrash and handed a letter by Speaker of the RA Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan over to him.
The press service of the RA Parliament informed NEWS.am that Ambassador Poladyan presented the background of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to Speaker Mahmoud al-Abrash. He also informed the Syrian official of Armenia’s commitment to a peaceful settlement of the conflict, as well as of the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
The sides discussed issues of Speaker Abrahamyan’s forthcoming official visit to Syria.
