Turkish President visits Bosnia-Herzegovina

President Abdullah Gul has begun his 2-day visit to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul, who arrives in Bosnia by a plane with a Turkish national Basketball team emblem on it, was welcomed by Mr.Haris Silajdziç, Head of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Council.

Bilateral relations will be taken up in all aspects and an exchange of views on regional and international matters will be made during President Gul's two day visit.

President Gul will also address Bosnia and Herzegovina's Parliament and confirm at the highest level once again that Turkey's support for all ethnic and religious groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina continues.

During the contacts, the significance of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s having an internationally recognized well functioning state structure will be emphasized in order to provide peace, stability, serenity and prosperity of the region.
