Sources in SOCAR reports that one of the stands provides detailed information about SOCAR’s activity.
General director of the Turkish Petkim Hayati Ozturk, on seeing the stand, said that currently SOCAR controls the biggest petrochemical enterprise of Turkey-Petkim within a joint alliance SOCAR-Turcas.
“This shows the continuation of fraternal relations between the two states in economic sphere”, Ozturk said.
Stressing the importance of energy for competition production in the world, the Petkim president said in this sense it is important to make energy the main issue of the fair. The fair involved a delegation headed by chief of department of science and technique of SOCAR Nazim Veliyev. It was noted that the exhibition organization by brother cities Baku and Izmir in 1994 ensured detailed information about SOCAR for local population.
