On September 7th Mikhail Gorbachev, the ex-President of the USSR and Condoleezza Rice, the ex-Secretary of State, will arrive in Georgia.
In Batumi they are expected to meet with the republic's authorities.
Gorbachev and Rice will conduct a trip in the framework of the 5th international symposium of world's leaders.
In the course of the tour they will participate in discussions of hot topics, including political and cultural complications of the region, nuclear weapon non-proliferation, existing conflicts, and strategic importance of the Caucasus' natural resources.
