An arms store on the Russian military base located in the village of Kokhora, occupied Abkhazia, Georgia, exploded.

The fire spread on the fuel containers and the second blast occurred. The trucks and military vehicles are all in fire and the Russians are trying to extinguish it from the helicopters of the Russian Defence Ministry.

Reportedly, there are casualties, but some soldiers, who survived in the explosion, are inside the circle of the fire and cannot get out of it. No rescuers have yet emerged to save them and those who have been gravely injured in the explosion.

The danger that the fire may spread on the populated area is quite real.
