The Azerbaijani football team (U-17) that is training in Germany played a friendly against German Hanover 96.
The match ended 1:0 in favor of the German team. Earlier our 17-year-old took part in the contest in Lithuania where it occupied the sixth place.
By beating Kazakhstan (3:1) at the group stage, the Azerbaijani team then lost to Belarus (1:3) and Lithuania (0:1) and took the third place in the group. This means that it will have to fight for the last fifth place. In this match the Azerbaijani team lost to Moldova 0:3.
