Heydar Aliyev Foundation
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation builds a new settlement for 150 single, disabled persons and needy families in Salyan region of Azerbaijan.
Despite the fact that laying of the foundation began four months ago, approximately 70-80% of construction works were carried out. The settlement will be consisted of 30 three-room flats and 120 - two-room flats. Every resident will get 0.3 and 0.6 hectares of the homestead lands.
The kindergartens, first-aid-post and other social objects will be built in the settlement. The gas, water and current lines will be laid here. The construction works will complete by the end of 2010.
The residents express their gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.
