Azerbaijan produced 1.409m tons of diesel fuel in January-July, sources in the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan said.
Production has grown by 156,000 tons over January-July 2009. Production made up 217,440 tons of fuel in January, 193,490 tons in February, 211,610 tons in March, 205,310 tons in April 156,630 tons in May, 197,110 tons in June, 233,870 tons in July.
By results of the last year diesel fuel production in Azerbaijan made up 2,219,000 tons. Of this volume SOCAR exported 1,435,000 tons which is by 29,000 tons higher compared to 2008.
The whole production was made at the oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev.
