UEFA Under 21 Championship
Austrian football team has named the players to take part in the qualification matches of (UEFA Under 21 Championship) against the teams of Albania and Azerbaijan.
According to News.Az, the match with Azerbaijan will be held in Austrian Wiener Neudorf on November 18 and will start at 17:00 local time (at 20:00 Baku time).
Austrian head coach Andreas Herzog called the following players for the match with Azerbaijan:
Lukas Konigshofer (SK Rapid Wien), Wolfgang Schober (FC RB Juniors Salzburg), David Alaba (FC Bayern Munchen), Julian Baumgartlinger (FK Austria Wien), Daniel Beichler (SK Sturm Graz), Haris Bukva (SK Sturm Graz), Guido Burgstaller (SC Wiener Neustadt), Christopher Dibon (FC Admira), Alexander Grunwald (SC Wiener Neustadt), Raphael Holzhauser (VfB Stuttgart), Stefan Ilsanker (FC RB Juniors Salzburg), Veli Kavlak (SK Rapid Wien), Christian Klem (SK Sturm Graz), Fabian Koch (FC Wacker Innsbruck), Christoph Kropfl (FC RB Juniors Salzburg), Georg Margreitter (LASK), Atdhe Nuhiu (SV Ried), Julius Perstaller (FC Wacker Innsbruck), Thomas Piermayr (LASK), Christian Ramsebner (SC Wiener Neustadt), Manuel Seidl (SV Mattersburg), Andreas Weimann (Aston Villa FC).
Among Austrians we can especially single our legionnaires – David Alaba of German FC Bayern Munchen, Raphael Holzhauser of another German club VfB Stuttgart, as well as Andreas Weimann from English Aston Villa FC.
The Austrian team has 9 points and leading in the qualification group after four matches. Azerbaijani team has no points after three games and our team is on the fifth place.
