31728 candidates have been nominated for municipal elections in 1718 municipalities.
According to the news service for the Central Election Commission, of the approved candidates 30840 got signature lists in the district constituencies.
24441 candidates have ended their signature collection campaign and passed the documents to the election commissions. 18597 candidates have already been registered for 1599 municipalities. Of them 10072 have a higher education, while 4153 are women.
Among self-nominees, 9830 are non-party members, others belong to 31 parties. 22 political organizations have officially nominated their candidates.
