SOFAZ
Azerbaijan's State Oil Fund, SOFAZ, received its highest income from assets invested abroad in the first quarter of 2010.
As of 1 April 2010, SOFAZ had earned $62.2 million from its assets abroad, according to figures from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During this period, the Central Bank itself earned only $5.9 million from its foreign assets, while other banks earned $1.9 million.
Overall, in the first quarter Azerbaijan received income of $102.6 million from abroad.
