Russian ambassador: Russian-Azerbaijani relations may serve an example for other countries

Russian ambassador in Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin held a meeting with masters and state structures employees passing requalification courses at the Diplomatic Academy.

Speaking of the Russian-Azerbaijani relations, the ambassador said Azerbaijan holds balanced external policy, yet both countries consider national interests. Noting existence of three spheres of special interests in Russia and Azerbaijan, Dorokhin said this is trade, energy and regional security.

According to the Russian diplomat, the commodity turnover between the two countries made $2.4 bn including $400 mln in agriculture. Dorokhin said Russian-Azerbaijani relations should serve an example for other countries.
