Parliament of Belarus to consider recognition of Georgia’s separatist republics

Parliament of Belarus

The parliament of Belarus will begin discussions on recognition of Georgia’s two separatist republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia starting next week.

Head of the Belarus President’s administration told journalists in that regard. Reportedly, Belarusian MPs will arrive in Georgia’s breakaway regions to inspect the current situation firsthand.

The parliament of Belarus postponed discussions over the issue several times.
