Azerbaijan joins Convention on Cyber-Crime

Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed the law on approval of Convention on Cyber-Crime.

Presidential press service informed that the convention was approved with corresponding statements and noted conditions.

On June 30,  Azerbaijani Minister of  Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov signed the document on joining of Azerbaijan to the Convention.

The Convention on Cyber-Crime was adopted in Budapest on November, 2001. The convention sets a goal to coordinate the laws on computer crimes, which differ in various countries.
