Azercell
The number of base stations of Azercell Telecom has reached 1700.
According to Ulviya Hasanzade, chief of department on corporate ties and social responsibility, 177 radio bases were installed last year and their number has reached 1700.
"Meanwhile, Azercell was the first to erect a station working on solar and wind energy in Azerbaijan", Hasanzade said.
The station is installed at the Shahdag mountain at a height of 1920 meters. Currently, the station is functioning with a full capacity. There is a plan to install wind generators soon.
