Iran and Belarus on Friday signed five Memoranda of Understanding.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus on Friday signed five Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of education, research and modern technologies.
"We underlined for enforcement of the issue through the two countries' strategic cooperation," Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Mehdi Nejad Nouri told IRIB in Minsk, capital of Belarus.
He said that the two countries have agreed to expand scientific cooperation in the fields of sanitation, treatment and medicine as well as space and peaceful nuclear energy during the forth joint commission.
Nejad Nouri also referred to the joint educational workshops, holding chair of Farsi and establishment of Iranology center in Belarus, cooperation in the fields of genetic engineering, biology, geo-mechanic and micro-electronic.
The Head of Belarusian University of Science professor Vitov said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a priority for Belarus both in joint projects and ties and hoped for enforcement of the projects.
The fifth join commission between Iran and Belarus in the field of scientific cooperation would be held in Iran in the next Iranian year.
