Safura Alizade will perform Drip Drop on the Eurovision stage in Oslo, News.Az reports with reference to ECSDaily.

The decision was made by the Azerbaijani jury after several rounds of closed-doors auditions of the finalist songs recorded by Safura in Sweden earlier this month. According to the jury, Drip Drop impressed them with its sheer power and potential, and truly stood out among other compositions. According to the website, Safura is currently in Sweden where she will now do the master recording of Drip Drop as well as of her first album at the legendary songwriter and producer Anders Bagge’s studio complex in Stockholm, one of the world’s most advanced recording studios. As it became known in the last few days, Anders Bagge wrote the music for the song in cooperation with Stefan Örn!

Drip Drop was mixed by the world famous Niklas Flyckt, who received a Grammy Award for his work on Britney Spears’s Toxic, just to mention one of hundreds of world hits he produced for artists like Madonna, Celine Dion, Backstreet Boys and many others. In fact, Drip Drop has been mixed at the same mixing desk as Britney Spears’s Toxic in Bagge’s studio! The lyrics for Drip Drop were written by talented Sandra Bjurman.

Meanwhile true to her nature and earlier promise, Safura quite rocked the Swedish showbiz world while recording the contest songs in Stockholm. She made friends with Izabella Scorupco at a private party. She got invited to one of Sweden’s top rated TV shows Aschberg. And she is getting ready for a promotional appearance in the Fryshuset club on 20th March.
