Russia is conducting a troop-landing exercise off the shore of Georgia`s occupied region - Abkhazia.
The 7th Novorossiysk assault division is conducting the exercise. 30 war vehicles and about 400 paratroopers are involved in the trainings.
Russia held similar exercise in occupied Abkhazia in August 2008 as well. Representatives of the Russian air-landing forces said the battalion has successfully achieved the task and returned to the landing vessel of the Black Sea Fleet.
The militants took exercise in preparing war tactics, attacking objects and conducting defensive fight. The exercise started on March 15 and will last until March 19. The military forces of the occupational regime held the so-called tactic exercise in Kodori Gorge in October 2009 as well.
