Rauf Mammadov
The European championship in chess has completed in Croatian Rieka today.
Accoridng to News.Az, Rauf Mammadov is the only chess player claiming for the awards a round before the finish. In the tenth rounds he played a draw with Georgian Baadur Jobava. Rauf rose to the fourth place, lagging behind the only leader, Russian Jan Nepomnjashiy by 0.5 points. Seven other grandmasters have the same number of points. In the last 11th round Rauf Mammadov will play against Russian Artem Timofeev.
