Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizade
An appeal on the case of imprisoned Emin Abdullayev and Adnan Hajizade will be filed to the Supreme Court, according to lawyer Isakhan Ashurov.
He said they will appeal to the high instance after they receive the decision of the Appellate Court.
The verdict of the first instance passed by the Sabail district court was upheld at a session presided by judge Gail Mammadov on March 10.
At that time Abdullayev and Hajizade were found guilty under articles 127.2.3 (deliberate flight damage to human health) and 221.2.1 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. In the result Abdullayev was sentenced to 2.5 and Hajizade to 2 years in prison.
