The event was held at the US embassy in Azerbaijan on the occasion of Novruz Holiday on March 16.
There were music and dances at the event organized for the embassy officials and their family members. Robert Harwick, who fulfills the authorities of US ambassador, congratulated the participants on this occasion.
Public Affairs Officer of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan Terry Davidson noted that spring is optimism time for both Azerbaijanis and Americans: "Novruz is a herald of spring, warm days. That is why, today we have gathered together to celebrate this holiday".
