Everton FC have made an official offer to Neftchi to open talks on buying Araz Abdullayev.
David Harrison, head of Everton's international relations department, has sent a letter to Neftchi President Sadikh Sadikhov, asking to start negotiations on Abdullayev’s transfer to the English club, Neftchi's news service told News.Az.
Everton’s scouts noticed Abdullayev during the Azerbaijani Under-21s' 2:2 draw with Scotland on 2 March.
