"Armenia's economy will gain much from the opening of the Armenian-Turkish relations."

The Armenian army should be cautious and prepared, speaker of the Armenian National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan told the open lesson for Armenian schoolchildren held Monday.

"The Armenian army is the most combat ready in the region. But it does not mean we should stop on this. It is necessary to develop our military knowledge, fill our army with professional servicemen and be cautious and prepared", Abrahamyan said.
"The recognition of the right of Karabakh people for self-determination and execution of this right is a basis for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. The status of Nagorno Karabakh and the security of its people are most important to us", Abrahamyan said.

He noted that the Karabakh conflict should be settled within the framework of  common sense and truth.

"Armenia's economy will gain much from the opening of the Armenian-Turkish relations and establishment of diplomatic ties", Abrahamyan said.

Meanwhile, he noted that the current policy of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan is quite proactive.
