South Korea funds road building in Azerbaijan

Ziya Mammadov
Azerbaijan has received a $180 million loan from South Korea's Shinhan Bank.
The government received the loan towards the cost of the Yevlakh to Ganja Road Four Lane Widening project, Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov said on Saturday.
He said that $70 million had already been spent.
Mammadov said that private South Korean companies had completed design work for on the Guba - Shamakhi highway project.
The purchase of locomotives from South Korea is currently under discussion.
