Iran will lead nuclear disarmament, Mehmanparast

Nuclear disarmament, creating Asian Union priorities of Iran diplomacy in next year, foreign ministry spokesman said.

Ramin Mehmanparast told ILNA that foreign ministry aims to lead and encourage other countries to nuclear disarmament.

He added the issue would be priority of foreign ministry policy in next Iranian year.

Mehmanparast underlined "Iran continues it’s nuclear program stronger in next year adding that as a member of International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran prevents greedy countries to achieve their aims."

Foreign ministry spokesman noted promoting regional cooperation and establishing an Asian Union will also be a priority for Iran.

Referring to Iran future relations with EU , Mehmanparast said '' the EU has appropriate capacities for cooperation with Iran but interaction only possible if EU countries decrease the influence of the US'' adding that ''Iranian citizen must be treated respectfully and European countries should avoid interference in country’s internal affairs.''

On the issue of Iran relation with UK , Mehmanparast said ''If British government seeks to maintain relation with Iran, it should avoid meddling in country’s internal affairs.''
