"We must seek new markets. We must enter the European market with the quality products, complying with the relevant standards ", Aliyev told a conference on the first year of implementation of “The state program of socio-economic development of the regions in 2009-2013”.
To this end, the head of state stated the need for new approaches to the issue and the use of new technologies.
During the speech, Aliyev also noted the need for additional measures to ensure food security, developing new areas of industry.
Summing up the conference, the president expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the first state program on socio-economic development of the regions and hoped for similar success of the new program, stressing the need for preliminary introduction of necessary amendments to it and additional financing of the due direction.
For better business development, Aliyev stressed the need for greater care of business and elimination of artificial barriers, including baseless inspections by the relevant authorities.
