A statement of the US Department of State on human rights in 2009 on Azerbaijan also says that the shooting on the front line led to numerous victims on the front line. The Foreign Ministry reported two victims among civilians along the contact line in 2009.
According to the National Anti-Mine Agency, two people died in the result of mine explosion including a civilian. 17 people including 15 civilians were wounded.
