Movement of Baku-Tumen, Baku-Kharkov trains in Dagestan resumes

The device exploded on Thuesday night on the way of the cargo carriage at Makhachkala-Port-Tarki passage in Dagestan.

The movement of Baku-Tumen and Baku-Kharkov passenger trains suspended due to the blast on the railroad in Dagestan has resumed, said spokesman for Azerbaijan Railway Company Nadir Azmamdov.

The device exploded on Thursday night on the way of the cargo carriage at Makhachkala-Port-Tarki passage in Dagestan. No casualties are reported. 14 cargo carriages were derailed. The carriage was empty.
Due to the repair works conducted in connection with the blast, the Baku-Tumen carriage was detailed earlier at the Manas station and Baku-Kharkov at the Makhachkala station.

"The repair and restoration works one of the railroads have been completed and it opened at 13.20 (12.20 Moscow time). The Baku-Tumen carriage has continued its movement by the route and the movement of the Baku-Kharkov train will resume soon", Azmammadov said.
He noted that the Friday routes Baku-Moscow and Baku-Tumen will be operated by the schedule.
