Thomas Mirow
Dr Thomas Mirow, the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development arrives in Azerbaijan on Monday, 15 March.
He is to meet President Aliyev and other senior governmental officials.
The aim of the visit is to continue the EBRD’s dialogue with the Government of Azerbaijan and demonstrate EBRD’s long-term commitment to assisting Azerbaijan in its transition towards open and democratic market economy.
The EBRD, owned by 61 countries and two intergovernmental institutions, is supporting the development of market economies and democracies in countries from central Europe to central Asia.
