"We do not intend to interfere in the internal affairs of Georgia."

Russia does not intend to interfere in Georgia`s internal political affairs but is ready to conduct a dialogue with the opposition, the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Russian Federation said at the press conference in Moscow.

Andrei Nesterenko
said Russia is ready to cooperate with all Georgian opposition leaders, including ex-PM Zurab Noghaideli and ex-Speaker Nino Burjanadze.

`More sensible Georgian politicians, really caring about welfare of their people, are concerned about the policy directed towards destruction of the traditional neighbourly relations with Russia, the Saakashvili regime is conducing in Georgia. We are ready to hold dialogue with them and all the others, who realize harmfulness of such trend in terms of Georgia`s long-term national interests. Among them are opposition leaders like former Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli and former parliament speaker Nino Burjanadze. However, we do not intend to interfere in the internal affairs of Georgia. The Georgian society will have to find the way out of the impasse, the acting regime has leaded it into`, Nesterenko said.
