"We need to find new solutions in the existing format."

Special envoy of the OSCE Parliamentary assembly on issues of Nagorno Karabakh, Goran Lenmarker, does not consider it expedient to involve Karabakh into the negotiation process on the conflict settlement.

"I think it is necessary to preserve existing format and not to involve new participants to negotiations. We need to find new solutions in the existing format", he said speaking at the opening of the Rose Rotte seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

Lenmarker noted that both the current and the previous presidents of Armenia come from Nagorno Karabakh and they represent Karabakh to a certain extent.

"Thus, Nagorno Karabakh is represented in the negotiations since they involve people who are close to what was and is happening in Karabakh", he said.
