World's oldest woman lives in Georgia

A resident of Georgia may become the oldest woman in the world.

Antisa Khvichava, the resident of Tsalenjikhi region of Georgia can be included in the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest woman of the planet - this July she'll be 130, stated Georgi Vashadze, the chairman of the civil registry agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

"This year we intend to connect with the due committee of the Guinness Book of Records in order to start the serious consideration of the case and let this woman be included in the Guinness Book of Records," Vashadze said.

Antisa Khvichava was born on July 8th 1880, in Sachino settlement, Tsalenjikhi district of Samegrelo-Svaneti region of Georgia.
