Serzh Sargsyan

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has signed amendments to the law 'On international treaties' approved by the National Assembly.

The new law provides for the termination and suspension of the signing and ratification of international treaties in Armenia at any stage before the process is completed.

According to analysts, the new amendments have been made against the Armenia-Turkey protocols, so that the authorities can reject the protocols after their ratification if Turkey sets preconditions or fails to ratify them.
