The Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies reports that during the meeting the minister noted adoption of the resolution on the initiative of Azerbaijan on the project “Transnational Eurasian Information Super Highway” (TASIM) at the 66th plenary session of the UN General Assembly.
“Taking into account the interest of the relevant bodies of Spain to the project, in particular the company Telefonica, the minister stressed the importance of providing them detailed information about the project TASIM.
In turn, the ambassador emphasized that all necessary work would be done for the development of Azerbaijani-Spanish relations in all spheres, including information and communication technologies and signing of bilateral documents on cooperation in ICT sector,” it was informed.
