Roland Kobia, head of the European Union mission to Azerbaijan, outlined Azerbaijan's alternative energy potential at a session of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC) yesterday.
“It includes wind and solar energy, hydro-electric power and geothermal energy sources. The EU is ready to render assistance on this,” Kobia said.
The CEIBC’s president and chief executive, Telman Aliyev, said the club had created a media group on alternative energy which would release a weekly bulletin on progress.
